Volume and reverb

Postby jshep231 » 21 May 2017 20:10

Using up-to-date win10 on Lenovo Yoga X1.

When I have VLC 2.2.4 weatherwax streaming from an icecast server (ogg or mp3), it sounds boosted and high reverb/spatialization. When I simply change focus by clicking on another window, this goes away and it sounds normal.

Interestingly enough, if I'm playing audio in my browser and VLC is stopped/paused and I put it back in focus, the gain and reverb reappears.

No issues with the stream on any other player/browser/device.

This is done by your driver. VLC does not change the audio when focus changes.
