Updating/refreshing MP3 properties do not succeed

- I have copied 2 MP3s from my PC with Windows 10 to my HTC M8s phone with Android 5.0.2 and Sense 6.0 .
- Later in VLC on Android the properties for artist and album on these MP3 appear to be missing, as they are unknown in the artists list.
- I correct these on PC.
- I overwrite the files on Android.
- Checking the files from PC on Android, I see the dates of the files are updated and the properties are correct.
- But whatever I try, VLC does not recognise them or updates them in the artists list.
- I have tried to empty the cache, checked for killing the process, restarted the phone, it will just not get right!

Very annoying.

Temporaly and crossing the fingers: you have to cancel the files and refresh from vlc, then recopy the files and refresh vlc (very boring...).
