Use case:
I often rip mp3 tracks and would like to automate the process of doing "Convert/Save" on multiple tracks on one CD. My impression is that choosing track number "0" was once supposed to do this for all tracks, but that has never worked for me. (In any case, being able to automate has other benefits.)
Immediate question:
Is Convert/Save not accessible via Lua?
Longer term question:
Would there be any interest in a patch to expose Convert/Save to the Lua interface, or is it intentional that this functionality is excluded?
VLC version 2.2.4 Weatherwax (2.2.4-0-g888b7e89)

Possible workaround (non-Lua?):
If I could at least set the default profile to MP3, not "Video - H.264 + MP3 (MP4)", that would help. AFAICT this is hard-coded but perhaps I could build my own VLC with the default I want?

Tried searching on "convert/save" in this forum, found two posts in one thread, seem irrelevant.
