Postby vrobdo14 » 12 Mar 2017 03:53

Hi
Please don't get me wrong this is not bagging VLC
I love VLC and been using for years so hope the designers will see this and fix it
VLC does not hide subtitles till next line is spoken Potplayer does
VLC does not display all spoken dialogue Potplayer does
Please see clips

If Potplayer can do it Then let's have VLC do it too

The second sample (KingKong) works fine for me.

The first one is indeed problematic.

Are you sure the second one (King Kong) is fine.
Yes Subtitles can be seen but some of the dialogue does not have subtitle display.
I have tried on several different PC all with VLC Player
The complete (All) Subtitles do display in Potplayer
If you are getting all subs on VLC then what can I do to make it work with my VLC ?
Thanks

These are the parts of dialogue that are not displayed as subtitles (Jack Black Character) when I play on VLC
"Another week" "Film yet" "Risked everything I have on this" "What do you want" "tell me what you want"
