"main: no suitable access module for........."

Postby dhira » 08 Dec 2005 01:49

If anyone has any information to help me out I'd appreciate it.

I just received a disk from a friend who downloaded a movie from UKNova. It's .avi format. She checked out the DVD before sending it and it played perfectly on her machine. She uses windows.

My computer is an iBookG4 with Mac OsX 10.3.5. I downloaded VLC to play the DVD and here are the error messages I got:

cdda: no audio tracks found
main: no suitable access module for 'dvdnav:///dev/rdisk2'

I only found out about .avi files and bittorrents a few days ago and only just heard about codec today, so forgive my ignorance as I learn.

I thank you in advance for any help you can give me as I know it is done in you spare time. I do appreciate it very much! :)
Thank you,
dhira
