VLC Streaming online videos. Youtube videos freezing on seek, others restarting...

Hi

Whenever I try to play a youtube video, it seems to start playing fine, but once I do a few seeks to random points in the video it starts freezing up and becomes unwatchable.

Furthermore on a different NSFW website, seeking may work for a few seeks, however at some point when I seek the video will stop playing altogether and will need to be restarted.

Anyone run into similar problems and know how to fix them?

I am hoping that there are some command line arguments that I can pass to the player when streaming the videos that will fix this as I am using VLC through VlcLib in my own application.
