vlc 2.1.0 compile with VS2005/2008/2010

I am using this 2.1.0 build in visual studio, It compiles without any error and runs without any issues but software update feature is disabled in this source code. Is there any way to re-enable this? Please help.

Hello, I open the 2010 solution in VS2015, but I'm having some errors like the typedef _COM_interface is undefined, maybe the conversion omit a file.
