VLC using to save television films on pc

I like to store a film / concert from tv on pc using vlc. I receive the television via Fritz!Box.

How I may store the film / concert using vlc ? Is it generally possible ?

? Enigma2 based SetTop-Boxes are convenient way to save TV stuff into .ts files... VU+Duo2 perhaps?
