Tested both VLC 2.2.0 and VLC 3.0 on a Intel Haswell i5 and NVIDIA GTX650 with OpenGL 4.4. It works but it is just way too slow and lossy to be watchable. This is Linux, but that is probably not very relevant.

i want to play 4k 60fps HEVC main10 video file...

VLC can play HEVC main10. But 4K 60fps is not realistic at this point. This just won't work, at least not until hardware acceleration comes.

did you test window version ?

it seems that Window version can't play HEVC main10.

and Nvidia GTX960 supprt hardware acceleration 4K 60fps HEVC main10 now
