I cannot play M3U8 videos with VLC , the player just goes into "not responding" mode.
Is there a fix for this, or some adjustment I can make ?

Thank you, I have used free software in the past that had a Support facility, admittedly they eventually offered an uprated subscription version (Like Malewarebytes, Mailwasher, etc. There is no VideoLAN support link: the software is free and thus nobody gets paid to provide the would-be user support.
VideoLAN is a foundation, and there would be fiscal difficulties with selling software. You can contact commercial partners if you want paid support http://www.videolan.org/videolan/partners.html but it won't be cheap...Thank you, I have used free software in the past that had a Support facility, admittedly they eventually offered an uprated subscription version (Like Malewarebytes, Mailwasher, etc. There is no VideoLAN support link: the software is free and thus nobody gets paid to provide the would-be user support.
I just hoped there was some Pro Support.
