Bluray playback has now totally broken on my system

Postby Jason_25 » 13 Dec 2016 04:58

I have last played a disc one month ago and aside from the lack of audio on some discs which I never got any response about everything worked fine.

Now all bluray playback fails with:

Code: Select all

libbluray info: First play: 1, Top menu: 1 HDMV Titles: 12, BD-J Titles: 0, Other: 0 libbluray debug: Disc is using AACS core debug: no access_demux modules matched core debug: creating access: bluray:///dev/sr0 core debug: (path: /dev/sr0) core debug: looking for access module matching "bluray": 28 candidates core debug: no access modules matched core error: cannot access bluray:///dev/sr0 core debug: dead input core debug: changing item without a request (current 0/1) core debug: nothing to play qt debug: IM: Deleting the input
There are similar other threads concerning bluray playback I have found with no resolution:

Here is one that is similar concerning dvd playback also unresolved:

Is this the message you get when you are not cool enough anymore?

edit:
The problem was the makemkv key had expired.
