UDP PCM stream demux

Hi I'm hoping someone can provide some guidance on receiving a UDP PCM stream with VLC.

Using the following options I'm able to decode a PCM stream from a network media encoder I have intelligible audio but there is continuous buzzing background noise.

UDP://@239.255.165.1:50003
:network-caching=1000 :demux=rawaud :rawaud-fourcc=s16b :rawaud-channels=2

Any thoughts assistance is greatly appreciated.

fourcc and/or sample rate are probably wrong.
