Maximum files in network folder?

Postby MichaDU » 21 Feb 2016 18:31

Hi,

sorry for bad english...

I installed vlc for iOS on my iPad Air (latest iOS) today. Streaming of files from my network AVM Fritz!Mediaserver (external HDD at Fritz!Box 7490) ist ok, no problems with it.

But there is one item i can't solve: folders on that HDD are filled with 40, 50, up to 100 files. In vlc, only first 49 of them are shown and can be streamed. What's that? :-(

There seems to be an issue with some crowdy UPnP servers. We will look into that.

I have the same issue with the AVM mediaserver. But it was working for about two weeks !
My folder contains three other folders and about 100 videos and, as i said above, it works for about 2 weeks on my iPad and latest AppleTV.
Now is see only some videos (49?) an no folders.
I installed the latest VLC on my iMac and here it works: all files and folders visible. So, I think, it´s not a problem of the AVM mediaserver.
