Change resolution in full screen to 4K

Postby Neutone » 07 Aug 2016 18:08

Is there some way to make the screen resolution automatically change to a specific resolution when playing in full screen mode?

I want 3840x2160 resolution when playing video full screen. With a fast enough computer, this provides the best picture quality due to the video filters used to upscale the image.

I want 1920x1080 resolution when I am normally using windows. This provides menu text that's not too small to read. Most programs are not written to scale with screen size.

No; VLC does not change the display resolution ever.
