Still no subtitles

well, i don't know if this is a new or old problem but everything i do i can't watch subtitles. if someone has a solution please tell me. thx.

Hi there
it's difficult to say what's wrong without a bit more information - if you can, copy-n-paste in any error messages you get in the message window or console. Also say if you're watching a dvd and selected subtitles from the menu or the dvd menu; or doing something else?

You might also want to check that the subtitle decoders were installed properly: do vlc -l to get a list of stuff.
