Customizable duration for the pop-up dialog box regarding "Resume from last position"

it would be great if you could add a customizable duration for the pop-up dialog box regarding "Resume from last position" with videos that have been played previously, as sometimes my remote control doesn't behave reliably and sends the simulated mouse click/hotkey to the button of the small window at the top asking if you would like to resume from the last position when it has already disappeared...

Yeah, I know that, but I'd rather prefer being asked individually, because from time to time I don't want to use this feature, and how I'm supposed to start a video easily from the beginning again using my remote control, when this option is set to "always auto-resume"?

Come on, I don't think it is sooo difficult to add a customizable input field for the duration, isn't it?
