I cannot open samba share from VLC for android. I start VLC, go to Local Network, here I can see samba and dlna servers, but when I try to open the the samba server it shows an empty directory and 'This directory is empty' message. I tried creating a favourite record with explicit path to one of the shares, accessing the server by the ip address or FQDN with the same result. dlna playback works. Samba can be accessed from the same device using other tools, BSPlayer can open it too, VLC is the only program which has problems. There is
