Google drive and srt files

I uploaded a mkv file and a srt file. I can view the mocie throug vlc for ios but subs not appearing..

How can i do this

Just hardcode the subs on your computer, or find another file with them but not needing srt. You're picking a file from a server in VLC, it's not going to look or even know about any srt files lol.

Yep, VLC-iOS and VLC-tvOS can't detect subtitles on remote shares yet including Google Drive. This will come in subsequent releases.

As we are getting more and more 'cloud base' for most of our files. This feature is exactly what I'm looking for. Hopefully VLC will have this in next releases. Thank you VLC
