VLC iOS Question - AppleTV 4th Gen

I finally have VLC installed onto my 4th Gen AppleTV. So far so good when playing my mkv files.
I noticed that in order to access my files by opening up folder after folder, is there a way I can create a shortcut so that I don't have to keep opening up the multiple folders to access my files?

No, we don't do favorites yet. This is will definitely come, but is not there yet.

Do you have a drive directly connected to the WDTV Live and are you able to access them from the Apple TV Gen4?

OR, does the VLC for tvOS crash the WDTV Live like VLC for iOS does?

Also just noticed that VLC for Android now supports SAMBA and when I connected to the WDTV Live it automatically created favourites of the most recent files played.

No.. i have a 3tb WDCloud device. I use the VLC app for the AppleTV Gen 4 to access my media content on my WDCloud device.
