Radio stations since update

Postby Babac » 09 May 2016 21:00

Hi all,
Since updating VLC to 2.2.3, I have a problem with the stations listed from Icecast Radio Directory.
Whatever station selected, it turns the name into Jamendo Lounge and plays only that music.
I'm tired of that music playing all the time.
Is there a fix coming up or am I the only citizen on this earth with such a problem?
Thanks for looking into it.

Same here. But not for all Radiostations, some are working but most not. It is really annoying as you can imagine.

Glad to see I'm not alone.
Yes, very annoying. In the meantime, I reverted to version 2.2.2 and now most but not all stations play by themselves.
Hope VLC will recognize the problem and will comme forward to at least recognize there's a bug here.

And now many stations say ''This radio station is not available in your country''.

I now use my VPN (as USA) and most of the radio stations play fllawlessly.
It's less complicated than reporting a bug to VLC...

Hi,
Good news for me...
Al of a sudden, everything is back to normal, even with version 2.2.3 and no VPN. :D
