Help with streaming, NAS and AppleTV

Hi,

I'm new here so I'd like to say a big thankyou in advance to any help I can get from you all. It is much appreciated.

I have all my movies as ISO's currently on my iMac but intend to purchase a Synology NAS.

Is the following scenario possible? I'd like to have all the media as ISO's on the NAS and then via VLC on the AppleTV access the movies andplay them in VLC on the TV.
Ideally I'd like to see a library via VLC of all the movies.

Is this possible or would anyonre suggest other ways?

Set it up in the Local Network area and you'll be good, just make sure everything on the NAS side is good. You'll see the servers you can add in that tab and if you still need help probably look at some settings in your NAS controls
