Quicktime Movie Timestamps (from iPhone)?

Postby metal450 » 14 Nov 2014 08:44

After recording a video on an iPhone, the .MOV can be opened in Quicktime, and you can see the original timestamp via Window->Show Movie Properties (in the Annotations grid at the bottom). See here: http://screencast.com/t/9FTkPZMoHrf

However, if you view the metadata in VLC, it does not seem to include the timestamp; see here: http://screencast.com/t/YyAy8Ac1CK

Is there no way to access this timestamp in VLC - preferably as an always-on OSD, when available?

Thanks in advance! :)

...Since it's been a full year and a half, is it reasonable to bump this thread....?
