Can libVLC be used for video logging?

Hi,

Is there a way to log all the video files played.
I would like send those log details like file name, video length, and few other meta info to an external server via API.
Can libVLC be used for this or anything else?

LibVLC is a media playback library. Is all.

It's up to LibVLC app to do or not do that.
