Yes I am referring to x64 release builds, which you have been making for quite a while (https://download.videolan.org/pub/video ... 0.1/win64/). I haven't experienced any problems with the recent x64 releases (2.2.1, 2.2.2), do you have plans to make them the default? If you mean VLC 2.2.2, there was a build, but there were conflicting statements as to whether it actually works.
The question was not where to get the x64 version, but what its status is. This was the response:You guys do know you can already get the 64-bit installer, no?
This is not what you'd say about a stable release, so evidently its still experimental, although you'd think 4 years is enough time to stabilize....there were conflicting statements as to whether it actually works.
what would you say about 32 bit "stable" releaseThis is not what you'd say about a stable release, so evidently its still experimental, although you'd think 4 years is enough time to stabilize.

For some reason the information seems to have vanished from the VLC Windows page so I believe x64 builds of VLC are still in experimental stage.
