Color separation

Postby search53 » 02 Dec 2015 14:43

Lately, when I use the playlist to watch videos, I have seen cases where colors are misaligned when a video file is played. It has the appearance of CMYK printing where one of the layers isn't placed properly. It never happens to the first video in the list, and if I completely close VLC and reopen it to watch the video that had looked wrong, everything is fine (colors are aligned). Just pressing the Stop button and pressing Play does not fix the problem - only a complete shutdown of VLC will rectify it.

Windows 8.1
VLC 2.2.1
