Files on Startpage + Video not in playlist

Hi together,

I want to change the layout of the Video Control Page. One of the most interesting items for me is to have the videos, that are alls saved at the same path, are shown at the start page. I don't want to click the "Open Media"-button, choose the path and then the video I want to see.
Second item: When I choose a video, I want to play it shouldn't be automatic in the playlist after it finished. So when I play the playlist in a loop this video should not be played again.
Does anybody know how I could do this?
