nightly build installer not working

I have just tried to install one of the nightly build and the windows installer version (.exe) don't seem to work any more.
It install fine but the vlc.exe cannot start. But the same build from the zip file work fine.

Which version of VLC ?
v2.2 or v3.0 ?
Win32 or Win64 ?

What OS are you using ?

Yes it is identical to what is in DJX thread and I was trying nightly v3.0 both win32 and win64 exe installer.
And the last one that did work for me was: vlc-3.0.0-git-20150905-0003-win32.exe

Excellent, you tracked it down to the last known working.
If any developer comes along to read this, they can begin looking into what change broke it.
