Subtitles not showing on iPad

I connect to my local network(wd my cloud) and playing movie fine on my iPad but srt subtitles not showing although it's in the same folder with the same name.

Anyone having the same problem or is this a known bug?

Hello,

VLC for iOS does not play external subtitles files from network shares. This is on our list, but so far not implemented.
