Sound not working on IP Cam

Since update 2.2.1 my VLC plug-in is not working with firefox or chrome. No sound and it also kills the camera picture on the Foscam. Picture is fine with sound turned off. Any help would be welcomed. Thanks,

Is the version of VLC the only thing that changed when this started happening? What troubleshooting steps have you already taken, like downgrading back to the earlier working version and verifying it still works as expected to eliminate the possibility of any other issues?
