Help required on installing into Samsung Chromebook 2

Hi there,

Just bought the above model, XE503C12-K01US as a gift for Mother's Day. I was hoping to be able to install VLC as simple as how I did it on the old Lenovo S10-2.

Any kind soul can kindly advise as I'm not a computer expert. Thanks in advance.

VLC is not yet available for ChromeOS

I just received an Acer Chromebook and it is very nice. Much better than any tablet for the price. The weakest point is no good video player. The available players just do not support enough sound codex. PLEASE - Give me VLC from Chromebook !!!!!!
