Adjust step forward and step backward BUTTONS times

Postby rathje40 » 11 Sep 2015 05:00

I can't figure out how to change the amount of time the "step forward" and "step backward" buttons move. I can see how to change the time for the hotkeys, but not buttons.

Like I said in my post, I want to adjust the time of the "step forward" and "step backward" buttons, not the hotkeys. Where is the configuration that determines what values to use for those buttons?

Menu - Tools - Preferences - All - Interface - Hotkeys settings and here: Short jump length

Thanks. I already dissected the source and saw that it uses short-jump-size for both forward and backward. That is unfortunate, since I want to make VLC behave like a DVR, where the backward jump is a fraction of the forward one.

Off to the enhancement request thread.
