Which codec is used for the video ?
A lot of people have the bad habit to use real codec and put it into mkv.
And VLC can't read latest real codec.

:(

Hi! If you do not mind, can you please advise me from where can I determine the Codec?

I had tried browsing through "Stream, and Media Info" under "View" when I played a mkv file, but there are so many types of Codec listed.

For example, Stream 0, the Codec is avc1, Stream 1 & 2, the Codec is mpga, and Stream, the Codec is ssa ... ...

Seeking for your kind advises, and assistances ... ...

Many thanks in advance, and regret for any inconveniences caused.

Have a nice day + weekend!

Cheers!

There isn't anyone out there able to help?

Who is the in-charge-of this Forum, or is there anyone who helps to troubleshoot?

I hate to say this, and I have no intention to sound rude, but what is the point of having this Forum if our problems cannot be solved?

Regards.
