xml subtitles

Postby buscon » 28 Aug 2015 17:16

hi all,

I am using a software called MediathekView, with it i can download some german tv programs and - new entry - also subtitles (where available).

Some of these subtitles are in XML format and VLC doesn't seem to be able to read them.

Does anyone know if there is a way to use them?

The XML format for subtitles is not supported by the VLC my knowledge.

Here, the supported formats:
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/features.php?cat=sub

i noticed that it's not supported, that's why i'm writing here :)

I was hoping there is a way to use them.
If not, it might be a wished feature.
