Suggestion: Maximum Resolution on Start

Postby bolt » 29 May 2015 10:24

I have a lot of 1080p and 4K footage and everytime when I open it half on the video is off screen.
My solution is to set a maximum starting resolution. When set to 1280x720 all clips with a higher resolution than that would start at a max resolution of 720p.
With this feature a label with the original resolution and a "1:1" button to set the clip to native resolution would be useful.

Yeah, that's a good idea.

Indeed, this feature is something that many of us seek.

I happen to have the same situation and would welcome an option to set a max window resolution for files exceeding my display native resolution (especially when run at my laptop).
