Can't save changes in Preferences with VLC 1.1.11.‏

Postby HansJoachim » 29 Jul 2015 09:01

When I'm watching ts-files I'm using a old version of VLC, version 1.1.11.
After having updated VLC to 2.2.1 and also having updated my video card drivers I'm no longer able to save my changes in Preferences with VLC 1.1.11.‏ When I'm restarting my PC the changes are gone. I've tried several time to change them back but they are always reset to default after restarting.

How can I keep the changes in VLC 1.1.11. ?

Try restarting VLC immediately after pressing Save to make sure your changes to preferences have been enabled.
I've tried that and initially they are enabled. However, after restarting the PC they are gone.
Alternatively, update to VLC Media Player 2.2.1
The problem is that VLC Media Player 2.2.1 doesn't play ts-files smoothly when the speed is at 130% or higher.
