Icecast streams ?

Postby ToniE » 25 Jul 2015 13:46

On my Mac I see under INTERNET a selection for Icecast Radio Directory.... but I can't find this in my iOS version of VLC? Is this not supported under iOS or am I just not good enough in searching? If the latter, could someone please point out to me where this is hidden? 8)

many thanks !

Yes, I can of course type-in the http://'s which I see on my mac...and that works...BUT, an error in your http is not recoverable. No way to delete / edit one of the 15 entries...?

Yes, we don't support lua-based Service Discovery modules on iOS yet, which is a sad story indeed.

The "Open network stream" dialog keeps your last 15, since the last update 100, streams, which you can delete by swiping to the left. However, you can't edit them.

This particular feature is definitely on our list (since actually I'm using VLC for iOS myself heavily to listen to web radio), but we are not there yet.
