Git project for iOS not found

Since some days, the git project for iOS is not available anymore.

http://git.videolan.org/?p=vlc-ports/ios.git;a=summary returns 404 - No such project

Does anyone know why?

That's because the git project is no public anymore due to a large number of copyright violations on the iOS App Store based on pre-production code. We only publish tarballs of the released versions now.

The URL you posted is offline for 4 months btw. (and there 0 new copyright violations on the store since then) and you are the first to complain.

On https://wiki.videolan.org/IOSCompile/, this git project is still used, so I thought something is broken.

There was no corresponding news article. It was on announced on the iOS mailing-list only and indeed, I forgot to update the wiki... wasn't on purpose
