Three (easy?) feature requests/alterations

Postby mike18xx » 22 Jun 2015 07:03

1. Custom zoom setting. For example, I have a 15" laptop with a fairly common 1366x768 resolution, and have found that a height of 600 is ideal for having the picture as large as possible on such a screen while not covering various upper and lower menu-bars of other applications. Ideally such a feature would include separate height and width fields, and would scale videos within those confines to either max out the customized horizontal or the vertical (preserving aspect-ratio sans any cropping).

2. Crop and aspect-ratio selections maintain themselves from one video to the next. This is ideal when "binge-watching" a series, but not at all ideal when viewing a mixed assortment of material. Suggestion: toggle such selections OFF if the next video in the playlist has a different resolution. (A checkbox would be ideal for those who with to force maintaining settings.)

3. Could we put the Advanced Controls on the same menu bar as the rest?

TIA for your consideration.
