Transcoding issue

Hello,

I tried searching but could not find anything on this before posting.

I am using the transcoding wizard or the convert/stream option from the file menu to try and convert a MKV to MP4. When utilizing either of these I end up with a 45 MB file. The original is 2 G. Am I missing something?

I never use VLC as tools for video transcoding, I would rather choose a professional video converter to do that, you may try that too.
