libvlc_exception.h not found

I'm new to qt and libvlc I develop a rtp / rtsp media player with qt on ubuntu I have download example code from the Internet and your official site and i have installled libvlc-dev but qt give me this error: error: 'libvlc_exception_t' does not name a kind
and when I look in / usr / include / vlc .there is no libvlc_exception.h
