Video goes white and buffer start

I'm trying to stream a movie from Popcorn Time with VLC, the video plays well for 5 or 8 seconds and then the video goes white and stop, the the vlc slider start to charge like if it were buffering. The slider or fill complete and then the video continue, but it keeps happening again. The console shows this

VLC version is 2.2.1.

Either your system or the network are too slow to decode the video.

My internet speed is 20 Mbps and my system can handle this type of video, is not high quality. I tried with another known player (but it dont suppor subtitles yet with Popcorn) and it plays fine so maybe some tweak or setting can be changed in VLC to help.

I would say when you try to start a video do Control + alt + delete and open up task manager. switch to the network window and see if you see an increase or not. If it isnt pulling a connection that could be it but if not then it may be a graphics card driver, VLC setting, or try doing a complete re install of VLC.

I updated Popcorn and now there is no option to stream externally to VLC for example. I have a media player connected to the tv, the media has a usb port with a flash drive connected with videos. I access the videos with my laptop (wifi connected) and the streamed video plays fine in VLC.
