How do I burn to DVD......Ok so I am a newbie

I have copied a DVD in to Laptop and played it from there.

How do I now copy this back to a DVD+RW?

A step by step instruction wouldn't be wasted on me....I think it is a miracle that I have got this far!!!!.

Decided to stream out from the Laptop using S-Video to my PVR's HDD. Then I copied up to a DVD... A rather long way round but the result is I now have a BACK UP of an unrecordable!!!! DVD.
