Text in context menus is gone o.O

Hi fellow VLC experts,

It appears text in most of the context menus, and the "File, view, help" buttons appear to be invisible. I've tried deleting the configuration file and reinstalling, with no avail. This happened after I did a system restore due to a crazy problem with my internet connection, but nvm that, I just want to know why most of my menus disappeared. Any help is appreciated, thanks again guys.

hi guy,

i've same problem, i've already uninstalled vlc and delete all profiles but nothing has changed, some menu are disappeared.

My config
Winxp sp2
athlon 2k
1 gb ram
all update from winupdate

try to set the language manually

start vlc like this: vlc.exe --language=en
