Auto-dim of screen in a brilliant scene

Postby DrumSergio » 16 May 2015 15:39

Hi!

I was wondering if it were a plugin or a certain configuration in order to apply a selective dimming based on the content of the actual brightness of the pixels in a movie.
I ask this because, when seeing films, my eyes pain when it's too much brightness, but if I configure the screen to be dimmer, then I can't barely see the darker scenes.

Conceptually it is simple, just dividing the brightness of each pixel by the sum of the brightness of the total of pixels in the image.

Thank you for your help!
