No audio 2.5.1 AAC

Postby bproffit » 15 May 2015 01:29

I just installed 2.5.1 and downloaded some videos from Dropbox into my iPad Air running iOS 8.3. They are .m4v files (h.264 video plays great) with AAC audio (NOT AC3). If I tap the sound icon it's defaulted to Disable, but selecting Stereo makes no difference. VLC audio volume is at max, as is iPad volume. I'm sure this must be a Noob thing, but I'm not seeing it. Any suggestions?

Update: They appear to play fine if I stream them from Dropbox rather than downloading them, but I'm going to be off the grid next week so that won't work.

This is a bug limited to US timezones. It will be fixed in the next update.
