Playing from the web

Hi. I have problems playing videos from the web. When I click to play a video It starts playing but then stops waiting to download more data to play the streamed video.
Is there a way to configue VLC to wait to have more content downloaded before it starts to play the video?

In bad English:
It's when reading video from any web source.
For example, if I load a video from atomfilms.com (in mozilla firefox), VLC starts to play but, suddenly looses audio, or stops playing for a while until it loads more data.

En mauvais français:
C'est quand j'essaye de lire un video (n'importe quel) de la web. Par example, d'atomfilms.com en firefox, il commence a réproduire mais tout en suite il s'arrête ou perd le son. Après quelques secondes il recomence pour s'arrêter de nouveaux.

En correcto castellano:
Es cuando intento leer cualquier video de la web en Mozilla Firefox. Por ejemplo desde atomfilms.com. VLC comienza a reproducir el video (lo tengo configurado para que no utilice windows mediaplayer) pero se detiene o pierde el sonido, para luego de unos segundos retomar la reproducción del video.
