Video rotation issue

Postby MHW » 24 Apr 2015 08:15

I appear to have a problem with video rotation. I've either taken on my phone or downloaded some videos which have been upside-down, and I've therefore rotated them using a video-editing programme. However, the last update of vlc I downloaded doesn't seem to recognise that they've been rotated and plays them upside-down again! The issue only seems to affect mp4 files.

Am I right in thinking this is connected with the auto-rotate function in the latest version of vlc? If so, what can I do about it?

Are you sure the video editing program also reset the rotation values?
