No video on connected display

Hi, I have last release VLC for Ios 2.4.1 on I-Pad Air 8.1.3....I cannot see video on a external display, connected by lightning - HDMI cable. Audio ok, but no video, display is black. Before now, I used it without problems, with previous release, but one day no more video. I installed new release buy nothing changed. I tried all settings on Ipad and TV, on-off IPad and TV....no results.
On Ipad Vlc is ok, of course.
Can you help me?

Hi Felix, I want also to add:

1) I have not problems for mirroring Ipad on displays, but only to see VLC video.
2) I tried with Mac Book Pro VLC 2.1.5 release to watch same videos on same display (by Thunderbolt HDMI cable) and all is ok.

Hi Felix, did you check the issue?
I took my ipad in apple assistance and They verified that Ipad and Ios are ok, because the app Video included in ios shows videos on connected displays.
I hope you'll resolve the issue soon.
