VLC crashes after update

Hi all. I have been using this app for a couple of years on my I Phone to connect to my home cameras. I made the stupid mistake of u[updating to the latest version. Now when i try to connect the app just crashes. Useless. Is there anyway to install the previous version. I depend on this app to keep a watch on my house. I transmit the cameras using media encoder.

I even wasted the money for the paid version. Does the same thing. The feed starts and then the app just disappears.

There is no paid version of VLC.

I did the upgrade through the app store and that is when it stopped working. It worked perfect with every other version.

Will there be a fix soon? I see others have been having issues with this update as well.

There is a paid version on the Apple store. . 99 cents. I took that one off and I am trying to get a refund. I am now using the original one. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but when I try to open a MMS feed (my own) the app just crashes and closes. Any ideas? Are there any settings for openning a live feed that can cause this? Like I said, all other versions worked perfectly.

VLC is Open Source!! VLC is always free. You are using fake.

I took the fake out and put the original back in but I still cannot open the mms streams. The app tries to load it and then it just closes and disappears. This is since I updated to the newest version. Prior to that everything worked great.

No. I have an older i Phone with version 6.1.3

I just wish I never did the update. If I could go back one version I would be fine.

I tried to get an older version but I did not have one saved on I Tunes. I did find another player that works, just not as well as VLC. When they have a another update maybe it will fix that bug.
