VLC - 2.4.1 Cannot open folders created before update

What a mess...
Almost all the files I have in the VLC player I have stored in folders.

Cannot open any of the folders after updating, darn...

Hope it can be fixed soon, until then yet again a useless app.

I didn't notice but is this a Beta? Maybe I shouldn't have updated...

When I click on a folder it displays it's content for a split second and ten goes back.

There is also a lag when scrolling up and down and files cannot be opened...
